Distraught NYC Actor Jumps 40 Stories & Lives to Tell Story
(NEW YORK, NEW YORK) They're calling it the "Miracle on 63rd Street". Thomas Magill jumped from the rooftop of his 40-story West Side
apartment complex. He landed in the hatch of a parked Dodge Charger and
survived. The owner of the car believes the Rosary Beads hanging from
the rearview mirror saved Magill.
Witnesses
say Magill wanted to die. Instead, he's in the hospital, in stable
condition with a bruised lung and 2 broken legs. When he made impact
with the car, he was likely traveling at 125 miles-per-hour. He
completely destroyed the Dodge Charger.
Summer Movie Attendance Falls to Lowest Level Since 1997
(HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA) This weekend is the official finish of the summer movie season. And the Hollywood
studios say it can't end fast enough. They had a couple of surprise
hits, but in general, this was a pretty lousy summer for movies.
Americans
agreed: Summer movie attendance fell to the lowest level in more than a
decade. About 552 million tickets were sold during the summer months.
That's fewer than 2 movies per American all summer long. A Hollywood
mogul said (quote) "The movies just didn't excite people the way they
needed to. When you raise prices and everyone perceives that quality
goes down, you have a major problem."

Jennifer Lopez is in the final stages of negotiations with " American Idol" -- and we're told it's all but a done deal and Jennifer will be the last critical link in the chain.
Sources
connected to the negotiations tell TMZ ... contrary to some news
reports ... there has been no drama and no diva demands. As one source
puts it, "It's been typical negotiating."
We're told ... absent a last-minute snag (which is highly unlikely) ... the deal could be inked as early as next week.
"Idol" sources say producers believe Jennifer is the key to re-energizing the show.

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... T.I. and his wife Tameka "Tiny" Cottle were arrested because cops claim they found what appeared to be ecstasy in their car.
We broke the story
... T.I. and "Tiny" were arrested on the Sunset Strip last night after
making an illegal U-turn. Cops say they smelled marijuana, conducted a
search and found a controlled substance.
We're now told that the substance was allegedly ecstasy. And, our law enforcement sources call it a "small amount."
The pills are being tested.

Jennifer Aniston hit the town Wednesday night with a new man and RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal his identity – Hard Rock Café heir Harry Morton.
Morton is the ex-boyfriend of Lindsay Lohan and the founder of Pink Taco restaurant chains.
RadarOnline.com broke the news Thursday morning that Jen was stepping out with a new man, having had dinner, drinks and dessert at Sunset Tower Hotel.
Aniston and Morton appeared to be flirting as she touched his arm
several times, sat next to him and they looked at photos together.
Eyewitnesses said Jen looked "a little nervous, putting her hair up in a loose bun and laughing at everything he said" while at an intimate corner table with Morton.
Although Morton is only 29-years-old, this isn’t the first time
Aniston, 41, has been linked to a younger man. Her on-again-off-again ex
John Mayer is nine years her junior.
"When her mystery date left for the restroom, she took the
opportunity to primp by reapplying her lipstick,” an eyewitness told
RadarOnline.com of Aniston’s dinner with Morton.
In true gentlemanly style, Morton picked up the tab before taking to
the wheel of his Jeep four wheel drive while Aniston slipped out a back door under tight hotel security to avoid the waiting paparazzi.

apple or something like that - before you go to sleep really helps."
